'Christine'

So this is Christine, my completed, de-seamed, remodelled and clean-finished partially decalled (this had an insane number of decals and looked overkill on the pics on the box) 1:100 Neo Gundam.

Why Christine? Because she bucked and fought with me all the way through and I think if ever I eventually felt like a project had a life of it's own and was testing me, she was it. Broken parts, paint inexplicably getting onto parts that didn't want to be that colour when they were miles away from the painting table, uncooperative armaments, half the V-Fin crest spontaneously snapping in the middle of the night, a clean finish that refused to stay clean and magnetically attracted hair, dust and fingerprints regardless of how often I hoovered and dusted and washed my hands...the list goes on. But we made it. And I love how she looks and feel like if I can only save one gunpla in a flood situation, it's probably going to be her.
