I'm currently unavailable for art trades. I DO NOT do requests any more.

I DO NOT do hentai, upskirt or any other form of japanese style erotic art. Erotic art in these styles is pornographic art. I DO NOT do pornographic art work of any type. If you ask for it from me I will refuse the job, and you will have wasted your time.

I can't really draw anthro so I'd rather avoid any anthro art trades except for special occasions. Anthro Collabs are fine so long as I'm colouring or doing backdrops not drawing ^_^, again please check the rules journal and make sure what you want fits into those criteria.

ORIGINAL CHARACTER SUPER SUNDAY LEAGUE!

The Idea:

Okay, here’s the plan. We get some OCs together, and have a little battle league I was thinking this would be like a comics/OCs take on the kinda Sunday soccer leagues my sporty mates do, we’d just get together as friends, and hang out battling OCs

We keep a record of our OC’s wins and losses, and I’ll keep a list of standings in the league based on that.

You don't have to start or finish battles on Sundays, but I'll be sorting out judging and news updates on Sundays, hence the Sunday part

Character Creation:

Basically go wild with character creation. No timezone limitations, style limitations or breed limitations. If you want to create a 4 foot high bunny ninja who fights in boxing gloves blindfolded, you go for it. Anachronisms are fine! Want a samurai with a laser sword, make one! Want to make a musketeer who wears cargo pants? Go for it!

Please NO GUNS! Hand to hand combat/hand to hand weapons only.

NO PROJECTILE ATTACK MAGIC/PSYCHIC ABILITIES! Magic/psych is allowed, but can’t be used to attack your opponent from afar. No ranged weapons, only magic hand to hand weapons or mental powers that effectively give your character a physical weapon/augmentation of their fighting abilities. And please no telekinetics/poltergeists who can throw people around continuously...that's kind of boring.

No nude /intentionally offensive characters. Keep it clean people lol.

Once you’ve got a character you want to enter, note me with a link or thumbnail and I’ll double-check it and get back to you to let you know you’re in the league

Profile sheet notes:

-If you want to alter the colour of the profile sheet or put special background graphics into it, feel free.

-In the possible event that you can get your OC onto your PC but don't have anything on it fancy enough like GIMP, PSP or Photoshop to do a full-blown profile sheet with, then drop me a note with a picture of the OC and their background. But PLEASE try and get a profile sheet together and only do this if you literally DO NOT have any way to make a profile sheet.


Battles:

When you want to battle someone, note them and ask nicely if they want to battle. If they can’t don’t hassle them to or bait them into fighting with you. If you’re feeling hassled by another leaguer, let me know. If it continues, they will be blocked from the group.

Battle’s length, nature and deadlines are to be decided between the two battlers once they’re agreed to battle. Again, feel free to do what you like battlewise. If you want to have a big epic fight with each other, do it. If you want to stage an eating contest, do it! please do the battles in one of three styles:

Draw a comic, write a story of the battle or do a single picture each with a description of what’s going on.

Battles must end with the character you’re battling with losing, whether that’s by them being knocked unconscious, getting trapped or have to surrender, admit defeat or stop fighting.

Killing the other battler’s character is strictly prohibited. If you kill the other character you WILL BE THROWN OUT. BLOCKED. FINITO. OUT. SO DON’T DO IT!!!!

Once you're definitely battling, note me and let me know and I'll post details of the battle.

Once the battle is finished, send me a note with links or thumbnails of the finished pages or drawings of the battle, and I’ll put them up on the main page so everyone in the league can see them for judging

Please no sexual content in battles.

If your battle's violent enough or has lots of cussing in it please flag it as Mature Content and forewarn us so we can say the same when we post it in the news. Ideally try and avoid mature content battles. Pretty please ^^


Judging the winner of a battle:

After a lot of requests that we alter the vote to a judging system I crumbled. I'm going to judge in the instances that I'm not battling.

All judges decisions are final. Please don't contest them. I am only moving to a judging system for two reasons that the vote system wouldn't work:

You can't block non-entrants from voting in the polls. Meaning they could be easily rigged by somebody getting all their watchers to vote-bomb the poll.

Regardless of quality of entry, it's highly possible that the league would get popularity oriented with a voting system.

EDIT: Judging for battles involving Moderator-owned OCs

In the case of myself being challenged to a battle, I will nominate another judge. This will most likely be *Shakahnna who is honest, firm and fair, and will call the battle like she sees it.

In such events, it is the guest judge who will declare wins/losses and forfeits.

EDIT: RULES FOR FORFEITS/DEADLINE ADJUSTMENTS:

You may postpone or reorganise a deadline with your opponent at any time in your battle, up to 2 days before the original deadline.

Deadlines can only be changed with a proper reason and the express permission of your opponent. WE WILL CHECK. BE WARNED.

The fact that you have something else artwise to do for another contest is not a valid reason for postponement or reorganisation. If you have responsibilities to other leagues please be sensible and try and set up your battles around them.

However anything that will physically or emotionally disable you from finishing your entry is fine.

If you fail to turn in your side of the battle by 12:00PM UK time the day after the deadline (to account for differences in timezone), you automatically forfeit. This is considered a 'dirty' forfeit.

Forfeiting 5 times by missing your deadline will result in your OC being put back in the unranked roster and forced to restart accumulating points. This is my little way of saying DON'T DO IT.

If you back out of a battle, this is a 'clean' forfeit. It will merely effect your league standing in terms of points, not add to your 5 and out 'dirty' forfeit score.

Wins/Losses:

If you're judged a winner, you get one win point.

If you're judged to have lost, you get one loss point.

If you miss your deadline as negotiated between you and your opponent, you forfeit. To avoid confusion, if you forfeit you're judged to have lost.

If you back out of your battle once it's been set up between you and ok'd with me, you also forfeit and are judged to have lost.


Damages incurred in a battle to characters:

This isn't real life. If your OC loses a limb during a battle or gets a really bad haircut from their opponent or whatever, we're happy to assume it grew back overnight. You don't have to redesign your OC to take that damage into account, but if you think it makes them more badass and you want to keep it, feel free ^^

General stuff:

Be friendly, keep the battles enjoyable and be excellent to one another.
Above all, have a blast, have some fun and make friends

OC Super Sunday League is a non-profit event. Everything you submit to it is copyright to you. I’ve got no plans to print work from it or any such commercial idea, this is simply a way for us all to kick back and let off some shteam lol
